ZuPreem Low-Iron Sofbill Diet contains round, naturally tan colored, extruded nuggets with a tropical fruit flavor and aroma.
Important Note-This diet is not intended to be the sole diet for species that are not iron sensitive. Feeding this product long-term to species not predisposed to iron storage disease could result in iron deficiency.

Feeding Instructions:
ZuPreem Low-Iron Diet is formulated to the primary
source of nutrition for iron-sensitive species such as toucans,
mynahs, toucanets, aracaris, and other iron-sensitive sofbills.
Feed free choice and limit in the amount of treats or other foods
to no more than 20% of the total diet. When supplementing
with fruits, make sure ZuPreem Low-Iron Softbill Diet makes up
at least 80% of what your bird eats every day.
For critically iron-sensitive species such as toucans and mynahs,
avoid supplementing with foods high in iron. Only foods
consistently low in iron, such as watermelon, papayas, bananas,
blueberries, and cantaloupe should be fed. Avoid citris fruit, as
well as pineapple and tomatoes, because they may enchance the
absorption of iron.
ZuPreem diets have proper levels of important vitamins and
minerals, and additional supplements are not required and could
be harmful to the bird. Do not leave moistened food in the cup for long periods of time.
Note-As an indicator of health, always monitor for changes in
weight and body condition. Provide adequeate amounts of food
to maintain good body condition, preventing excessive thinness or obesity.
Always provide clean, fresh water.
