Nekton-Rep-Color Adds Color Enhancement to Nekton-Rep 35g

The same formula of important vitamins such as vitamin A and D3, essential amino acids and vital mineral elements for good health and condition plus the carotenoids Canthaxanthin and Apocarotinal.

NEKTON-REP-COLOR-COLOR is also in a position to prevent many deficiencies and thus help avoid health disorders.

Canthaxanthin and Apocarotinal (apo-8-carotenoic acid ethyl ester) are carotenoids, an important group of natural reddish/yellow pigments widely distributed in plants, as in tomatoes, carrots or oranges. Many carotenoids are precursors of vitamin A, that is, they develop certain vitamin A qualities in the body. This means they have a beneficial physiological value as well as enhancing colours or reviving pale and faded colors to their former beauty.

The carotenoids in NEKTON-REP-COLOR have been produced synthetically but are nevertheless identical to those the animals would find in their diet in the wild and therefore safe. Click here for complete product details in PDF format.

USAGE

NEKTON-REP-COLOR is a powder supplement completely soluble in cold water and simple to use. It enables the animal owner to choose a way of administration most suitable to his pet's feeding habits. Following methods can be used:

ADDED TO FEED

This is the simplest way. NEKTON-REP-COLOR can be mixed with the reptile's plant or meat food: E.g., Tortoises - scatter a pinch of NEKTON-REP-COLOR over chopped or shredded lettuce leaves after wetting them slightly. Turtles - knead NEKTON-REP-COLOR into finely chopped heart and form tiny balls that can then be fed by means of tweezers.

Similarly, various pieces of meat dusted with NEKTON-REP-COLOR can be given in this manner. It is enough to dust just one or two pieces of meat with NEKTON-REP-COLOR.

If the animals are fed on live fodder, it is better to dissolve the NEKTON-REP-COLOR powder in water and inject this under the skin of the animal used as fodder. In the case of insect-eating reptiles and land amphibians put the dose of NEKTON-REP-COLOR powder into a jar, let the insects in and shake the jar. The insects are then covered in NEKTONREP and can be fed to the animal as usual.

ADDED TO DRINKING WATER

This method is quite simple as NEKTON-REP-COLOR is soluble in cold water and thus guarantees a full and reliable supply of vitamins and trace elements. For land reptiles add 1 gram NEKTON-REP-COLOR to a water ration of ¼ litre and this meets the animal's vitamin needs completely. Use fresh water every day. At the beginning remove all other drinking vessels so that the animal is forced to use the one containing the vitamins. In time you will find your pet prefers the water with NEKTON-REP-COLOR to its normal drinking water.

ADDED TO TERRARIUM WATER

Amphibians living mostly in water can absorb the vitamins through their skin or by swallowing the water. As a guide we recommend a measuringspoonful (1 g) to 30 litres water (about 7 U.S. gallons).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Due to the variety of reptiles and amphibians it is impossible to recommend an exact dose and we leave it up to the owner to decide on the best amount himself. It depends very much on how much nourishment the animal takes per day. The enclosed measuring spoon is for your convenience. It holds 1 g.

IMPORTANT
Store in a cool, dark and dry place. In an unopened container and correctly stored the vitamins in NEKTON-REP-COLOR remain effective until date of expiration, see extra label.

Please note:
Because of this supplement’s higher content of vitamin D and trace elements than in a complete feed, it may only be added to 10% of a reptile’s daily ration.
