- For use with Fluval U4 Underwater Filter
Rinse the Foam Pad thoroughly before use and push into the Foam compartment. Rinse the foam pads alternately weekly and replace when the water circulation slows noticeably. To ensure retention of the beneficial bacteria required for biological filtering, NEVER change or rinse both pads at the same time. Use aquarium water NOT tap water. Replace every 3-6 months.
