Kent Reef Carbon 2 Quart. Kent Marine Reef Carbon is a fine coal-based carbon that is ideal for use in freshwater and marine aquariums. Activated carbon will removed entrained toxic gases, yellowing compounds, and organic pollutants.
Usage:
Rinse with freshwater to remove dust. One cup per 100 gallons of tank capacity is ideal. Place media in a mesh bag and place in an area of high-flow, where water must go through and not around. Replace monthly; because activated carbon will remove trace elements, it is recommended to use it intermittently in marine aquariums.
