Mosquito Bits is a highly selective microbial insecticide effective against mosquitoes in a variety of habitats. When spread over the containerized water surface the bits release a biological mosquito larvacide at the water's surface. This larvacide gradually settles in the water where it is eaten by mosquito larvae growing there. Mosquito Bits may be used in all types of containerized standing water sites where mosquito larvae grow. The Bits will give a quick kill within 24 hours. For more residual long term control please use Mosquito Dunks (items 6279, 6876 ) after applying Mosquito Bits.Sprinkle one teaspoon per 25 square feet or one tablespoon per 75 square feet over the surface of containerized standing water found around the home: Flower Pots, Tree holes, Bird Baths, Rain Barrels, Roof Gutters, Unused Swimming Pools. Active Ingredient: Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis. 8 oz jar. Not available to Canada customers
