These traps are a safe, effective, and non-toxic way of controlling fruit flies in your home. Especially useful for bird owners who mix fruits and vegetables into the food for their parrots, near garbage cans, compost containers, and recycling bins. Each package contains 2 small jars with flap-tops, and a packet of pheromones that attracts the fruit flies. They will enter the trap and drown before they have a chance to lay eggs and continue breeding. Simply remove lid from jar, fill halfway with warm water, add packet of pheromone attractant and 1 or 2 drops of dish soap. Stir. Replace lid and open the flap-top that has 3 small holes in it. Place trap 2 feet away from source of fruit flies. Dispose of when full of flies. Pheromone solution stays effective between 2-4 weeks depending on the weather and the number of flies caught. Safe for use in food-handling and food storage areas. Package of 2 traps, each traps measures 3 3/4 inches tall x 2 1/8 inches wide.
