Blessing's Lory Powder 'Gourmet Blend'
Now formulated with quinoa, this blend is designed to support the dietary
needs of brush-tongued and nectar-feeding parrots within the Loriinae family. It
provides balanced nutrition with reduced iron levels and added calcium,
vitamins, and minerals to sustain birds through all stages of life.
The recipe incorporates human-grade soy protein isolate at 90%
concentration, chosen for its digestibility, amino acid profile, and
palatability compared to lower-quality alternatives. Ingredients are responsibly
sourced to align with ecological standards and minimize environmental impact.
Note: Pea protein and spirulina are excluded from this formula due
to their association with iron storage disease.
Mixing Directions:
- Serve dry in a clean bowl.
- Provide fresh water alongside the powder.
- Replace food and water daily.
Storage Instructions:
- Freshly prepared with a one-year shelf life (refer to date of manufacture
on packaging).
- Store in a cool, dry location free from pests and contaminants.
- Freezing extends shelf life to two years.
