Introducing ReptiSun® 5.0, the ideal choice for all tropical species of reptiles and amphibians. It provides a 5% UVB Output and 30% UVA Output, offering a Full Spectrum of light. The newly designed ReptiSun® Mini Compact Fluorescent Lamps employ a special UVB transmitting quartz glass for optimal UVB penetration.

These cool burning mini compact fluorescent bulbs can be screwed into standard threaded sockets, doing away with the need for a separate ballast. The lamp can be positioned either vertically or horizontally in your reptile hood or clamp lamp fixture. UVB emissions are known to help prevent or reverse Metabolic Bone Disease, while UVA enhances feeding, mating, and other natural behaviors.
