NEKTON-Dog Chlorella is a single-ingredient chlorella algae supplement designed to complement the daily diet of dogs, particularly in fresh or raw feeding routines such as BARF.

This microalgae provides a broad spectrum of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals that contribute to normal metabolic activity, immune function, bone development, cell maintenance and the nervous system. Its nutrient density makes it suitable for supporting the daily ration of young, convalescent or generally weak dogs.

The minerals present in chlorella assist in maintaining normal bone structure, electrolyte balance and muscle function while also contributing to the body's natural defenses. Naturally occurring unsaturated fatty acids in the algae help maintain normal skin condition and coat quality.

Chlorella is notable for its chlorophyll content of up to 3%. Chlorophyll plays a role in the utilization of iron in the body and supports normal red blood cell formation and oxygen transport.

As a daily supplement, chlorella is frequently used as an additive in BARF rations or home-prepared diets to round out the overall nutrient profile.

Analytical constituents: crude protein 56.2%, crude fat 10.7%, crude ash 4.9%.

Feeding guidance: introduce NEKTON-Dog-Chlorella gradually and increase the amount step by step over the first week. This approach allows the digestive system to adapt to the new supplement. Chlorella is commonly given as a course over 4 to 12 weeks, with the daily amount slowly reduced again at the end of the period to minimize the risk of loose stools or constipation.

• Small dogs (up to 10 kg): 0,8 g to 1,2 g (0.028 oz to 0.042 oz) per day, corresponding to 1 to 1.5 heaped measuring spoons.
• Medium dogs (10 to 25 kg): 1,2 g to 2,4 g (0.042 oz to 0.085 oz) per day, corresponding to 1.5 to 3 heaped measuring spoons.
• Large dogs (25 to 40 kg): 2,4 g to 4,8 g (0.085 oz to 0.169 oz) per day, corresponding to 3 to 6 heaped measuring spoons.
• Dogs over 40 kg: 4,8 g to 9,6 g (0.169 oz to 0.338 oz) per day, corresponding to 6 to 12 heaped measuring spoons.

One heaped measuring spoon (included) corresponds to 0,8 g of NEKTON-Dog- Chlorella.

Storage instructions: store NEKTON-Dog-Chlorella in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F). Do not store in the refrigerator. Keep out of reach of children and use within 3 months after opening.

General hygiene recommendation: clean and disinfect food bowls and drinking vessels daily to maintain good feeding hygiene.
