SL-Aqua Bio Protector Z1 is a targeted treatment powder formulated from natural plant-derived ingredients to control planaria and hydra in freshwater aquariums.

When used as directed, this product maintains the stability of the tank's biological filtration and does not interfere with the nitrogen cycle. It is considered safe for ornamental fish, freshwater shrimp, and aquatic plants. The fine powder dissolves readily in water with a texture similar to confectioners sugar. Each 10 g (0.35 oz) container is sufficient to treat up to 132 gal (500 L) of aquarium water.

As planaria and hydra die, their bodies may curl and accumulate in the aquarium, which can contribute to cloudy water. After the treatment period, performing a 50% water change helps support a clean, stable environment.

Directions for use

• Using the included measuring spoon, add 2 level spoonfuls for every 13 gal (50 L) of aquarium water.
• Allow the treatment to remain in the aquarium for one full week without water changes.
• If planaria or hydra remain visible after the first course, repeat the one-week treatment using the same dosage.
• Discontinue dosing once planaria and hydra are no longer present.
• After the final course, change 50% of the aquarium water.

Not suitable for use in aquariums housing nerite snails.
