Blessing’s Breeder Blend Plus is a low iron powder and nectar formula developed for all brush-tongued and nectivorous psittaculidae species within the family Lorianae. It is formulated to support all life stages of lories and lorikeets and now includes quinoa, increased protein, and bee pollen. Human-grade ingredients are used, including soy protein isolate (90% protein) for amino acid availability and palatability. All ingredients are responsibly sourced.
Pea protein is not used in this formula.
Mixing Directions
- Standard nectar: 3–4 tablespoons powder to 1 cup water
- Breeder formula: 4 cups powder per gallon water
- Change nectar after a few hours and feed only what will be consumed in a meal
Storage Instructions
- Made fresh to order; one-year shelf life from date of manufacture
- Store in a cool, dry place free of insects and contamination
- Freezing extends shelf life to two years
