Transform your terrarium into a natural desert or savannah landscape with the Exo Terra Stone Desert substrate. This landscaping substrate is made from natural desert soil and contains no dyes or chemicals.

Create realistic outcrops, tunnels, and burrows that encourage your reptile’s natural digging and burrowing behaviors. The substrate won’t collapse when dry and is an excellent heat conductor, allowing you to craft both cool, humid hiding places and warm basking spots for optimal thermoregulation.

Lightly misten Stone Desert can be shaped into hills and platforms, and retains its form when dry. Available in an 22 pound (10 kg) bag.
