The NEKTON-feeding tube has been specially developed for NEKTON-Nektar- Plus, for feeding hummingbirds, sunbirds, and nectar-feeding birds. It consists of brown Plexiglas and is almost fully impervious to UV light. This ensures an extended shelf life of the important food components. The rounded, sloping base on the inside of the tube enables the bird to ingest the food up to the very last bit. The filling quantity of 40 ml is sufficient even to provide larger species with a single feeding per day. A combination with NEKTON-Desi-Natural is strongly recommended for cleaning the tube after each feeding to protect sensitive hummingbirds and sunbirds from illnesses.
