The API Freshwater pH Test Kit is ideal for most freshwater aquariums. It measures pH (acidity) from 6.0 to 7.6. Typically it is desirable to be as close to 7 (neutral) as possible. Certain freshwater species, such as African cichlids, will need the hi-range pH kit, as they prefer a pH level above 7.6. Easy to use, quick an accurate with up to 250 tests.
