Dr Tim's Ammonium Chloride Solution is recommended for use in freshly set up, uncycled tanks. It works by providing the Ammonia needed by the nitrifying bacteria to establish itself in a fishless cycle. Simply add a couple drops per gallon to raise ammonia-nitrogen concentration. Be sure to test your water regularly to ensure that it's safe when you're ready to add fish.

If water paramaters don't improve, you may need to use a live culture of Nitrifying Bacteria in conjecture with this product.

One 4 oz bottle cycles 200 gallons.
